Bagmati River Benibad

Benibad is also famous for the Bagmati River which has given the villagers much sorrow through flooding and land erosion. 






The Bagmati River is a perilous river that flows through Bihar, notorious for the destruction it causes. In the Benibad region, its flow is so strong that it has devastated the homes and livelihoods of many people. The river has engulfed the houses of numerous families, eroding the land and leaving people homeless. Many of these people, who were already struggling with poor economic conditions, had their homes and fields swept away by the floodwaters. With no money or land to rebuild, they are left in despair.

The flood has particularly affected families like:

  1. Mr. Naseem Sahab
  1. Mr. Sameem Sahab
Janab Gafoor Sahab
...and many others who lost their homes and properties.

  1. The son of Mr. Rasheed
  1. Three children from Master Athar Sahab's family, who were his brother's children.

In addition to property damage, the river has claimed the lives of many children. Among the deceased are:

The Bagmati River has not only destroyed houses but also agricultural lands, forests, and tragically, the lives of innocent children. The affected families are left with deep sorrow, as they face the overwhelming challenges of rebuilding their lives in the wake of this disaster.
